Terms of service

Pressentify publishes interactive programming reference material and runs a job-hunt workspace that aggregates public job postings, ranks them against a profile you provide, and drafts application material with the help of AI models.

It is an independently operated project, offered as-is. There is no uptime guarantee, no support commitment, and features may change or be withdrawn.

You are responsible for keeping your password and session secure, and for everything done through your account. Give an email address you actually control — it is where job alerts and any account notice will go. One person, one account; do not share credentials.

We may suspend or delete an account that is used to abuse the service, break these terms, or attack the infrastructure.

You agree not to:

• scrape, mirror or bulk-download the site beyond ordinary reading, or run automated traffic against it;
• attempt to reach another user's data, bypass the workspace gate, or probe the service for vulnerabilities without permission;
• upload content you have no right to upload, or anyone's résumé but your own;
• use the service to send unsolicited mail or to misrepresent yourself to employers;
• resell or redistribute the service's output as your own product.

Your profile, notes and uploads remain yours. You grant Pressentify only the permission needed to run the service for you: to store that content, send it to the AI providers named in the privacy policy when you invoke a feature that needs them, and — if you connect Google — to create documents in your Drive. Nothing you provide is used to train models or shown to other users.

Match scores, verdicts, tailored pitches and cover-letter drafts are generated by language models. They are frequently wrong. A generated draft may misstate your experience, misread a posting, or invent a detail. Read everything before you send it — you are responsible for what you submit to an employer under your own name.

Job listings are collected from public career pages and job boards. They may be stale, duplicated, mis-parsed or already filled. Pressentify is not the employer, is not affiliated with the employers listed, and has no part in any hiring decision.

Connecting Google is optional and governed by Google's own terms in addition to these. The connection uses the drive.file scope, which reaches only documents this app creates; you can disconnect from the account page or revoke access from your Google account at any time. Links to employers and job boards are provided for convenience; their sites are their own responsibility.

The cheatsheet content, diagrams, code examples and site design are the work of Pressentify. You may read, quote and use the examples in your own work freely; you may not republish the collection wholesale or present it as your own.

The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pressentify is not liable for lost opportunities, lost data, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service — including a job you did not get, an application sent with a generated error in it, or a posting the aggregator missed.

You can stop using the service at any time and ask for your account to be deleted by emailing pressentify@gmail.com. We may discontinue the workspace with reasonable notice to account holders.

These terms may change; the “last updated” date above marks the current version, and continuing to use the service after a change means accepting it. These terms are governed by the laws of India. Questions go to pressentify@gmail.com.
